Certified Nursing Assistant Level 2 -  Registration for Fall 2014 Class Now Open 
CNA2 is an 80-hour noncredit course which includes lecture, skills lab and clinical practicum. You must hold a current unencumbered Oregon CNA1 license and meet all prerequisites by the registration deadline to take this course. No class 11/11 and 11/27. Community Health Worker Online+Classroom
A Community Health Worker (CHW) is an outreach person who coordinates access and care to help bridge the gaps and eliminate barriers between health care, social services, and the needs of at-risk members of our community. This 80-hour course consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction combined with online learning (approx. 15 hours per week throughout the six week course). Classroom sessions: 10/8 (9am-noon); 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5 (9am-4pm) and 11/12 (9am-noon). Required books: Foundations for Community Health Workers (Berthold, Miller,& Avila-Esparza) and Motivational Interviewing in Health Care: Helping Patients Change Behavior (Rollnick, Miller & Butler). Healthcare IT Technician
IT use is essential in the healthcare field. The CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician certification covers the knowledge and skills required to implement, deploy, and support healthcare IT systems in U.S. clinical settings. Earn a certification that puts you ahead of the rest. This class prepares you to take and pass the CompTIA HIT-001 Certification exam. IT staff can learn how to stay in compliance with all the changing rules and regulations and the computer operations that make this possible. BLS for Health Care Providers Recertification
This Basic Life Support course is ONLY for participants who currently provide health care in a variety of settings, both in and out of the hospital and those who have taken a BLS for Health Care Providers course within the past 2 years. You will review CPR skills and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for victims of all ages. This course is not a substitute for Heartsaver CPR.
