We will create comprehensive and relevant programming that is responsive to the needs and interest of adults.

We will strive to meet the needs of communities and businesses in the region

We will strive to expand Community Learning and Business and Employee Development

   

 

STRATEGIES

 

  • Develop and implement long term marketing plan in conjunction with marketing firm
  • Increase paid and unpaid marketing including traditional and social media
  • Grow summer youth programs
  • In coordination with campus coordinators, increase penetration and offerings in Madras and Prineville
  • Develop strengthens as Beacon programs, such as;
    • culinary
    • summer youth programs
    • technology
    • health and wellness
    • health care training
    • transitions/boomers
    • certification training prep
     
  • Refine job functions and responsibilities to enhance marketing and customer service capabilities as a result of Flexible Registration
  • Integrate Economic gardening concept into SBDC
  • Develop proactive approach to meeting needs of business community through sales position
  • Strengthen partnerships with organizations such as Deschutes Co Library, OSU, EDCO
  • Strengthen pathways between non-credit and credit programs
  • Develop and grow high quality transitions/boomer program
