Sign up for New Student Advising
The Getting Started page provides information on when and how to sign up for New Student Advising.
At New Student Advising, you will:
- Complete the New Student Workbook
- Evaluate your placement scores
- Work in small groups with an advisor
- Plan your first term courses
- Register for classes
- Get answers to academic questions
- Take 2-3 hours to complete
New student advising is offered at the start of new student registration each term and continues until the new term begins; students are encouraged to arrange for their earliest new student session. Options are provided in Bend, Redmond, and usually Prineville and Madras each term.
