Orientation FAQS
What is Orientation?
Orientation is generally a 2-3 hour session held just before the start of a new term.
Why do I need to go?
During Orientation, you will learn helpful information about our classes and program, you will be evaluated for Reading/Writing and/or Math, and then we will help you get registered for the class(es) best suited to meet your needs and educational goals.
What if I can't attend an orientation session?
In some cases, you might not get into a class because classes fill quickly in some locations. Please do everything you can to be able to attend an Orientation session, but if you can't, please call our office at 541-504-2950 for more information and to check on availability.
What should I bring?
If you have one, please be sure to bring your Social Security Number to Orientation, and money, if able to pay for class(es).
