Tuition and Fees


COCC has one of the most affordable tuition rates in Oregon and professional staff to help students apply for and obtain financial assistance to pay for college. 

Tuition at COCC is based upon your residency and the number of credits you take. Fees can be assessed per credit, per term, or based on a deadline.  

Residency 2014-15 Tuition
(effective summer term, 2014)

In-District: $87 per credit
Non-Resident Veteran: $100 per credit
Out-of-District / In-State:  $115 per credit
Border State (CA, ID, NV and WA) $115 per credit
Out-of-State:  $237 per credit


Review COCC's  Residency Policy to determine your tuition rate.  Note that courses with unusually high costs may have an additional fee per credit. 

Fees 2014-2015

Fee Description     Fee (effective summer term, 2014)
Student Activities Fee: $1.50 per credit 
Green Energy fee: 25 cents per credit
Technology fee: $5.50 per credit 
Online course fee: $10 per credit
Science lab fee: $12 per course

Mazama usage fee:

$20 per term for those students taking an HHP 185 activity class or for those not taking a class, but wanting to use the Mazama gym facilities. 

Certain programs, including the ones listed below, may have additional fees: 
Automotive, Aviation, Cascade Culinary, Dental Assisting, Emergency Medical Services, Forestry, Health Information Technology, Manufacturing, Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, Nursing, Outdoor Leadership, Pharmacy Technician, Structural Fire Science, Veterinary Technician

Late registration fee:  $30 beginning third week of classes;
$50 beginning finals week
Late payment fees: $30 per week, up to three weeks or $90 maximum per term

Tuition Waiver for Adults who are 65+

Students 65 years of age and older may be eligible for a tuition waiver.  Review the 65+ Tuition Waiver policy to see if you can benefit and learn how to apply.

Application Fee Waiver

Students who are unable to pay the $25 application fee for admission to COCC may be eligible for the Application Fee Waiver.
