COCC is hosting a Job Fair for part-time instructors from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the rotunda of the Barber Library on the Bend campus. Pools of potential instructors are being developed for all terms, including next summer.
Most instructor positions require a master’s degree in the subject to be taught as well as teaching experience. Technical programs may have different requirements, depending on the field.
The fair provides an opportunity to talk with department and Human Resources representatives as well as learn about support systems, benefits and teaching in Redmond. Participants can begin the application process on the spot; please bring resumes and copies of college transcripts if available.
Representatives of the college’s Community Learning department will also be available to answer questions about opportunities and requirements for teaching noncredit classes.
