The Central Oregon Community College Library will host an opening reception for “The Artful Beauty of Science,” an exhibit highlighting the disciplines of science and health, in the library’s rotunda gallery will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25. The exhibit will continue through Nov. 14. The opening and the exhibit are free and open to the public.
The juried exhibit features 30 artists from Oregon, Washington, California and Idaho. Karen Coleman won Best of Show with her ultra-fractal piece “Icarus.”
