Take Back the Night

Tuesday, May 13     Room 105 in Modoc

6 p.m. dinner followed by 7 p.m. Discussion about Sexual Violence and the Campus Community, lead by Kimberli Kennedy, Sexual Violence Advocate with Saving Grace, and Kelly Davis Martin, Assistant Professor of Human Sexuality with COCC.

The discussion on Sexual Violence and the Campus Community will present current statistics and information relating to the prevalence of sexual assault and violence and discuss the implications to our campus community. The program will connect individuals with local resources and risk management strategies and engage the larger community in advocacy and prevention work.

8 p.m. Campus Safety Walk lead by Robert McDilda, Safety and Security Supervisor with Campus Services.

Campus Safety Walk will explore the physical campus environment at night with the Safety and Security Supervisor of Campus Services, Robert MdDilda. We will walk around campus and gain a sense of empowerment through awareness and opportunity to give feedback.
