Emergency Text Messages/Snow Closures from COCC

COCC's cell phone text message notification system worked well during our recent two snow closures. Anyone who signs up for the cell phone text messaging service and selects the Opt In Level of “High Importance” will automatically receive a text message if there is an emergency on campus or if the college is closed due to the weather.

If you would like to receive a text message on your cell phone when a message of high importance is broadcasted (e.g., when the College is closed for snow), sign up now on the: Text Messaging Service web page.

Students can also check COCC's web site, switchboard (383-7700) or radio stations for information about COCC snow closures. If nothing is announced, then we are on normal schedule. The Redmond Campus may have a different situation (504-2900). Detailed information can be found on the COCC Snow Closure Policy web page.
