COCC VPN Service

COCC's VPN (Virtual Private Network) service is used to provide secure access to network resources which can not otherwise be safely made available for use over the internet or via COCC's wireless service.

While connected to COCC's VPN the following additional services are available.

		Student "My Documents" Storage        (click for help with My Docs)
		Faculty/Staff "My Documents" Storage        (click for help with My Docs)
		Native Banner (Approved Staff Only)        * The first time you connect Java will need to be installed so please be patient.

While connected to COCC's VPN users can access the above services and all other COCC internet services, however users can not access non-COCC internet resources. In order to access the general internet users must first disconnect from COCC's VPN. This limitation is in place to minimize the impact to the COCC network and help ensure security.

Getting connected to COCC's VPN

NOTE: At this time COCC's VPN service only provides access to the above services. Access to services such as department and classroom folders (N and S drives) has not yet been planned.
