    Muslim Journeys Visiting Scholar Talk

    Immediately following the opening reception, Dr. Kambiz GhaneaBassiri, an Associate Professor of Religion and Humanities at Reed College, will present a talk on the history of Muslims in America.

    'A Quiet Revolution' Book Discussion

    May 29, 12-1 pm, Oregon Room, Barber Library
    A discussion of A Quiet Revolution: The Veil's Resurgence, from the Middle East to America by Leila Ahmed, facilitated by Amy Harper, COCC Faculty. Students can pre-register for the discussion group and receive a free copy of the book (while supplies last). Copies of the book are also available to borrow from the COCC Library, Deschutes Public Library, and the COCC Multicultural Activities Center.
