Films on Demand Help - Students

Are you a faculty trying to provide links to Films on Demand in Blackboard? Check out our Films on Demand help page for faculty.

Films on Demand works best in the most recent versions of the Firefox and Google Chrome browsers. If you're using Internet Explorer and are experiencing problems, try switching browsers. If you're having problems watching films, you may find our Films on Demand troubleshooting page helpful.

Students - View Films on Demand

Students, for off-campus access, your instructor has to provide a link that routes you through a COCC login page that looks like the one below. If you are on-campus, you won't see any login screens at all. On- or off-campus, neither faculty nor students need to create a Films on Demand account to use Films on Demand.

Proxy Log-in screen(3)

If you are following a link from Blackboard and see any other kind of login screen (even a Films on Demand one), you’re going to have trouble. But, you can always find the film you need through Films on Demand on the Library’s website. Here’s how:

  1. Click on the “Films on Demand” logo on the Library’s home page. If you’re off-campus, enter your COCC ID number (820…) and last name when prompted.

  2. Films on Demand Access

  3. Search for the title of the film or film segment you are supposed to watch. You are searching all of the Films on Demand content the Library has access to, so you should find what you have to watch for your class.

  4. Search Films on Demand

If these instructions don't help you solve your problem, or if you are still having trouble accessing Films on Demand and/or finding the film you need, feel free to contact Michele DeSilva at the Library for help at 541-383-7565 or mdesilva@cocc.edu.
