I have always had a passion for ceramics and get a buzz from passing it on. Ceramics 1 is my favorite course to teach. This gets them excited about what can be done with clay and the subsequent courses reveal the fruits of that base knowledge.

I like presenting things in many ways: verbal, visual, tactile -- knowing that eventually students start getting it. I enjoy giving students more than one option for any procedure or question and watching how they make up their minds.
