Students interested in the Dietary Manager program must meet basic
competencies in reading, writing and math as listed above, as well
as hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Once students have
met these requirements, admission is based on a first-come,
first-served basis (a wait list will be formed to allow for
potential cancellations). Students may begin Dietary Manager
classes at the start of any term. Current COCC students may enroll
through the early registration process, with new students enrolling
through the standard admission process for new COCC applicants. New
students should contact Enrollment Services - Admissions (383-7500)
as soon as possible for additional information.
Admitted students will be assigned a program advisor to assist
with advising and registration. Current students who have taken the
placement test must be assigned a program advisor prior to program
admission. Any previous transcripts should be forwarded directly to
Enrollment Services - Admissions with a request for evaluation
prior to the advising session.
Prior to the start of classes, admitted students must
have a food handlers card, a hepatitis immunization and a T.B.
test.
