Non-Degree Seeking Registration

Registration for non-degree seeking students

If you are not seeking a degree or certificate and you are taking credit classes, you will register with the non-degree seeking registration group. If you are not sure whether you are non-degree seeking, logon to your Bobcat Web Account and look up your registration status on the "Can I Register for Credit Classes?" page. If your Student Type is "Non-Cert/Non-Degree Seeking", then you are a non-degree seeking student.

Steps to non-degree seeking student registration:

1. Placement Testing
Students taking credit classes must have placement test or transfer credit information on file with the Admissions and Records Office (Boyle Education Center, Bend Campus) in order to register. Note that if this requirement was waived the previous term, it cannot be waived again.

2. Advising
Check the “Can I Register for Credit Classes” page on your Bobcat Web Account to see if you have other holds (library, parking tickets, etc).

Non-degree seeking students are not required to meet with an academic advisor, but are welcome to do so. Note: Non-degree seeking students are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR FINANCIAL AID.

3. Registration
Steps 1 and 2, as applicable, must be completed prior to registering for classes. Once complete, students may register (see online login and registration directions). In-person registration is available in the Enrollment Services office in all COCC campuses during regular business hours. For additional assistance, the web registration HelpLine, 541-330-4358, is available during regular business hours.

Online classes: Successful completion of the Orientation for Online Classes at COCC mini-course is required before students can register for online classes.
